Steve Geller

Mr. Geller joind Meridian Capital Group more than 20 years ago and is currently a Managing Director of the co-op group based in the firm’s New York City headquarters. Mr. Geller specializes in structuring creative financing products for this unique segment of the market and has been instrumental in Meridian’s emergence in the Co-op & Condo Financing Market. He has successfully placed more than $6 Billion of underlying co-op loans during his career.

Currently, he successfully heads a division for the company which has financed nearly 700 underlying co-op loans totaling more than $3.1 Billion over the last 36 months alone. By working with more than 25 different co-op lenders Mr. Geller has developed incredible analytical and evaluation skills. These skills have helped Steve develop unique and creative programs with lenders that have helped his clients refinance their underlying co-op loans even when issues like existing prepayment penalties, lockouts, or other terms would have made it impossible or impractical to do so.
