Joseph Harary

Joseph Harary joined Meridian in 2019 and currently serves as an associate in the company’s Midtown office. He specializes in landlord and select tenant representation in New York City.

Mr. Harary has distinguished himself in the retail & industrial leasing sector with experience in the leasing of both high-end retail corridors in Manhattan, and warehouse spaces in Brooklyn.

Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Harary worked multiple roles. Positions in real estate, branded wholesale apparel, and as an elementary school teacher in which he still serves today. Over the course of his career, Mr. Harary has negotiated around 75,000 square feet in leases covering Retail, Office and Industrial properties, in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and New Jersey. Notable retail transactions include Esé Azénabor at 1263-1269 Madison Avenue, Dunkin’ at 2600 Broadway, and Jersey Mike’s at 131 5th Avenue in Brooklyn. Notable industrial transactions include 1011-1021 Elton St in East NY, 344 Maujer St in East Williamsburg, and Class-A cold-storage space at 1080 Linwood St, to name a few.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Development from BaruchCollege’s Zicklin School of Business, and a Master of Science in Jewish Education from Yeshiva University’s Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration. He was recognized by NYREJ for One’s to Watch, Rising Stars in 2023.
