Desi Avidane

Mr. Avidane joined Meridian in 2024 and currently serves as an Associate in the company’s Midtown Manhattan office. Desi has a solid balance of both tenant and landlord representation across New York City, with a particular focus on the retail leasing sector, where he has developed a strong track record in securing premier locations.

Desi has successfully executed deals on behalf of brands such as “Modern Bread and Bagel”, a popular gluten-free bakery expanding its NYC footprint, and “Just a Little Booking Agency”, an innovative event and artist management agency. He has also facilitated lease negotiations for “H&R Block”, supporting their continued presence in key urban markets.

Prior to joining Meridian, Desi was an Analyst at DivcoWest, where he focused on managing investments across commercial real estate portfolios. Earlier, he gained experience at Senvest Management LLC, working as a summer analyst.

Desi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Indiana University and brings a data-driven, relationship-focused approach to his work in retail real estate.
